Moving Photoshop Elements 6 to new computer

I have a new computer. All my 20K+ photos are stored on an external HDD. I have not managed any combination of copying the program across, or installing the program from scratch that retains all my thumbnails and keyword tag information. Are there files that contain this info - and if so how do I find them?

You need to move your catalog file. I am not sure where the default location in 6 is. In the older versions this was the .psa file found in C>Program Data>Adobe>Catalogs. In v6 I think it may be a .psedb file?
